Founded in 1975 by Lady Susan Wood, Kazuri Beads grew from a small garden workshop into a thriving social enterprise that empowers mainly single mothers through fair wages, profit-sharing, and training programs. Each piece is lovingly crafted from locally sourced clay near Mount Kenya and hand-shaped, painted, and glazed by skilled artisans—offering unique designs rooted in cultural heritage and sustainability.
