About Wastewear

Our process involves recycling textile scraps, cuttings, and other post-consumer cotton waste materials that would otherwise be discarded. By using recycled textile waste as a resource, we reduce the amount of waste in landfills and conserve valuable natural resources such as water, energy, and land.

Recycled polyester is made from recycled used plastic bottles, diverting waste from landfills and oceans where it can take hundreds of years to decompose. Recycling polyester reduces the amount of waste in landfills, conserves precious natural resources, and reduces carbon emissions.

We derive the color of our products from the cotton waste we source. Using no dyes in our production reduces the amount of chemicals and pollutants released into the air and water sources. Additionally, using no dyes can reduce water usage in the manufacturing process, as dyeing fabrics requires a significant amount of water.
