About the Brand+
Experimental and distinctive in her design, Amalya approaches clothing as wearable sculpture. Through zero waste construction and up-cycling, her work explores the strange harmony of beauty and grit. Largely process based, no two pieces are alike. Upon your new slip dress, you are likely to spot a sun printed flower or a 1960s napkin. These pieces are created for the curious to love. Prior to this very exciting venture Amalya guest curated the Fashion Week Brooklyn Sustainable Show this past fall, in which she also presented her most recent collection, Leaning Inn. In addition to NYFW, Amalya has shown at Paris Fashion Week, Miami Art Basel and has work currently for sale in New York, Los Angeles and London. Amalya holds degrees from Central St. Martins, Parsons and Eugene Lang.
