She's made from three different textiles: all handmade cotton artisanal block prints sourced directly from printers in Jaipur, Rajasthan and Bhuj, Gujarat. Slow-stitched to last by the Shahpur Jat workshop in New Delhi.

Swiatlo is passionate about traditional craft textile techniques in India and the intrinsic sustainability seen in their making. We work with artisan partners around west India who make block prints, batiks and bandhani tie-dye with natural dyes and a tailoring unit in Jaipur, Rajasthan whose sole function is to repurpose discarded textiles. All of our stitching unit partners are women-run and pay a living wage to ensure each person crafting our work is happy, healthy and thriving. Swiatlo pieces are special labors of love energetically infused by all who've had a hand in their making.
