AO Glass was founded by Rich Arentzen and Tove Ohlander, who combined their distinct Swedish and Italian-American glassmaking traditions to create a unique studio in Burlington, Vermont. Established in 2007, AO Glass produces hand-blown glassware, lighting components, and custom gifts, maintaining a strong focus on craftsmanship and design. The company has partnered with prominent brands and institutions such as the Smithsonian and WhistlePig Whiskey, creating custom products that range from snowfolk sculptures to whiskey glass toppers. With a 10,000 square foot studio, AO Glass plays a vital role in preserving the art of glassblowing while supporting the local creative economy​.
